In 1985 werd het eerste het SISTA-US toernooi verschermd. Aanvankelijk met alleen floret, maar sinds 2001 ook op degen en floret jeugd. In 2012 wordt ook degen jeugd er aan toegevoegd. SISTA US is de start van het nieuwe jaar als het om schermen gaat.

Intiated in 1985, SISTA-US focusedon foil fencers, since the beginning it attracts many foreign fencers. Since 2001 the tournament has been expanded as far as the categories
are concerned, youth foil and seniors epee have been added. Traditionally the tournament is held in January. In 1995 when SISTA was initiated building on the legal infrastructure of this tournament, Fencing club US decided to join the collaboration.
