Met ingang van 2017 heet het SISTA-MMIT het SISTA–SFZ toernooi. Sinds 1991 wordt het (voormalige SISTA-Rana en SISTA MMIT) SISTA-SFZ toernooi geschermd op de wapens sabel en floret.

Op zaterdag wordt er individueel gestreden op het wapen Floret en op zondag wordt er individueel geschermd op het wapen Sabel. De individuele wedstrijd op zaterdag bestaat uit twee categorieën; Dames & Heren floret en Zondag Dames & Heren Sabel. Zowel het heren floret als sabel toernooi is een wereldbeker satelliet toernooi en maakt deel uit van de Coupe du Nord. Dit betekent dat de schermers er punten voor de wereldranglijst kunnen halen. De lijst is belangrijk voor de Europese en Wereld kampioenschappen en natuurlijk voor de Olympische Spelen Daarmee is dit het enige en sterkste toernooi in Nederland.

Since 1991 fencers cross their weapons at the SISTA-SFZ tournament (formally known as SISTA-Rana and SISTA-MMIT), on sabre and foil.

From the beginning, the tournament has the pleasure to welcome foreign fencers as well as many ‘home’ teams. Amsterdam Fencing Club Rana has organized the tournament at first, later in 1995, Rana joint hands with other Amsterdam Fencing clubs and SISTA was formed.

SISTA SFZ is part of the Coup du Nord circuit. Featuring both men and woman categories, the mens tournament has the status of FIE satelite worldcup. This means that fencers can gather points for the international ranking which is needed to gain access to the European and World Championships as well as the Olympics. The tournament is the strongest in its categories in the Netherlands and attracts many foreign fencers.

It is not all hard competition at SISTA-SFZ, and are always a guarantee for more relaxed fencing with a good chance to run into world class opponents.
